Yellow Claw

Yellow Claw is a Dutch DJ and production duo from Amsterdam, currently made up of Jim Taihuttu (Jim Aasgier) and Nils Rondhuis (Nizzle). Originally formed as a trio with Bizzey, who departed in 2016 to focus on a solo career, the group built its name on a fusion of trap, hip hop, dubstep, electro house, and moombahton that made them staples of the festival circuit.

The duo rose through associations with Spinnin’ Records and Mad Decent before establishing their own imprint, Barong Family, in 2014, which became a platform for their releases as well as other artists working in similar bass-heavy, dance-oriented styles. Their sound is characterized by aggressive drops, trap-influenced percussion, and vocal hooks that lend themselves to both club play and festival main stages.

Tracks such as «Love & War», «In My Room», and «Till It Hurts» reflect their range across hip-hop-inflected dance music and more melodic, pop-leaning electronic production. Yellow Claw has become one of the more recognizable names in the Dutch trap and bass scene, known for high-energy live sets and a steady stream of collaborations across electronic and hip-hop circles.
