Tommy Richman is an American singer and songwriter from Woodbridge, Virginia, whose blend of R&B, funk and rock textures propelled him to mainstream breakthrough in 2024. He began releasing music independently on SoundCloud and Spotify in 2016 with early tracks like «Ballin' Stalin», gradually building a following in R&B and punk-rock-leaning genres before songs like «Pleasantville» drew wider attention and pushed him to drop out of college to pursue music full-time.

His sound blends falsetto-driven R&B vocals with punchy, guitar-inflected funk and rock arrangements, an eclectic mix that sets him apart within the broader R&B and pop landscape. In 2023 he signed with Brent Faiyaz's label ISO Supremacy alongside Pulse Records, opening for Faiyaz on tour and featuring on his track «Upset», connections that helped elevate his profile ahead of his own commercial breakthrough.

That breakthrough arrived in April 2024 with «MILLION DOLLAR BABY», teased on TikTok before release and quickly becoming one of the defining songs of the year, debuting at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and racking up tens of millions of streams. Alongside the hit, tracks like «DEVIL IS A LIE» and «ACTIN UP» further showcased his genre-blending approach, following his 2022 EP «Paycheck» as key steps in his rapid rise.
