Thomas Mraz

Thomas Mraz, born Almas Gataullin on December 7, 1992 in Ufa, Russia, is a Russian singer, songwriter and producer who emerged from the country's underground rap and alternative scene in the early 2010s. He first drew attention through the DOPECLVBWORLD collective before becoming affiliated with Booking Machine, and later founded his own label, hangov3r. His breakthrough came with the track «May 13», which introduced his melodic, emotionally raw approach to hip-hop.

Musically, Thomas Mraz blends rap with R&B, pop and rock textures, favoring introspective, often melancholic lyrics delivered over atmospheric, guitar-tinged or lo-fi production. Songs like «Rolling Stoner», «Stereocoma» and «Ultraviolet» showcase his signature mix of sung and rapped vocals, while «Чернила» and «Хочу к тебе» highlight his more vulnerable, romantic side. He is considered one of the distinctive voices of Russian alternative rap, standing apart through his genre-blending sound and confessional songwriting.
