The Color Purple Broadway Cast

The Color Purple is a Broadway musical based on Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and its 1985 film adaptation, telling the story of Celie, a Black woman in the early twentieth-century American South who endures hardship and abuse before finding strength, sisterhood and self-acceptance.
