Tayc

Tayc, born Julien Bouadjie, is a French R&B and urban pop singer of Cameroonian descent, raised in Marseille before relocating to Paris. His stage name comes from a childhood nickname given by his mother, standing for «Take All You Can». He built his early following through mixtapes released independently before signing to producer Barack Adama's H24 label, positioning him within the wave of French urban artists blending R&B, Afro-inspired rhythms, and pop songwriting.

He first attracted wider attention with his 2017 mixtape Alchemy and its standout track «Le verre de trop», followed by a second mixtape, H E L I O S, in 2018. His breakthrough into the French mainstream came with the release of his debut album Nyxia in February 2019, which included the hit singles «Promis juré» and «Palavra» and established his smooth, melodic vocal style as one of the defining sounds of contemporary French R&B.

Tayc expanded the Nyxia project with two further installments the same year, Nyxia: Tome II and Nyxia: Tome III, growing the trilogy to over 40 tracks and cementing his status as one of the most prolific and commercially successful voices in French R&B, known for singles such as «N'y pense plus» and «Moi, je prouve».
