Sunday Service Choir

Sunday Service Choir is a gospel ensemble assembled by American rapper and producer Kanye West as part of his Sunday Service worship gatherings, which began in Calabasas, California in early 2019. The choir brings together dozens of vocalists to perform sweeping, harmony-rich arrangements of traditional hymns alongside reworked versions of West's own catalog, blending gospel tradition with hip-hop and pop sensibilities.

The group first reached wide audiences through West's album JESUS IS KING, where their voices opened the record and appeared throughout its tracklist, grounding the project's spiritual themes in communal, choral sound. Later that same year, West released Jesus Is Born, a live album credited entirely to Sunday Service Choir, capturing the ensemble's performances and cementing its identity as a recording act in its own right rather than simply a backing group.
