Omarion

Omarion (born Omari Ishmael Grandberry) is an American R&B singer, dancer, and actor who first rose to fame as the lead singer of the early-2000s R&B group B2K. After the group split, he launched a solo career built around smooth vocals, sharp choreography, and a sound that blended traditional R&B with hip-hop production, positioning him as one of the genre's leading male voices of the mid-2000s.

In 2012 he signed with Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group and adopted the nickname Maybach O, a move that pushed his music toward a harder-edged, rap-inflected R&B sound while keeping his romantic, radio-friendly hooks intact. His catalog includes tracks such as «Post to Be», «I'm Up», «Ice Box», and «Distance», which showcase his range from club-ready collaborations to introspective ballads.
