Lucky Daye

Lucky Daye, born David Debrandon Brown, is an American R&B singer-songwriter whose warm, elastic voice and genre-blending arrangements have made him one of the most acclaimed new voices in contemporary soul. Before stepping into the spotlight, he wrote songs for artists such as Mary J. Blige, Ella Mai, Trey Songz, August Alsina and Keke Palmer, a background that shaped his craftsman's approach to melody and hooks.

He introduced himself as a solo artist with the single «Roll Some Mo» in 2018, followed by two EPs, I and II, before releasing his debut album Painted in 2019. The record blended classic soul influences with modern production, earning him multiple Grammy nominations, including nods for Best R&B Album, Best Traditional R&B Performance for «Real Games», and both Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance for «Roll Some Mo».
