Leon Thomas

Leon Thomas is an American singer, songwriter, and producer whose career spans child acting, Broadway, and modern R&B. He began performing as a young child, voicing Tyrone on Nickelodeon’s Backyardigans and appearing in major Broadway productions including The Lion King, Caroline, Or Change, and The Color Purple. As a teenager he became known to a wider audience through the Nickelodeon series Victorious, where he also began developing his musical voice.

Behind the scenes, Thomas built a parallel career as a songwriter and producer, forming the production duo The Rascals with Khristopher Riddick-Tynes. Together they have written and produced for major artists such as Ariana Grande, Chris Brown, Drake, Ty Dolla Sign, Post Malone, Jessie Reyez, and Zendaya, giving him a rare insider’s command of contemporary pop and R&B songcraft.

As a solo artist, Thomas blends smooth, soulful vocals with hip-hop and pop sensibilities, drawing on his stage training to deliver emotionally direct performances.
