Khalid Donnel Robinson, born February 11, 1998, is an American R&B singer-songwriter from El Paso, Texas, whose smooth, conversational voice and warm, minimalist production made him one of the defining sounds of late-2010s R&B-pop. He broke through as a teenager with «Location», which gained massive traction after being featured by Kylie Jenner, leading to a deal with RCA Records shortly after high school and the release of his debut album, American Teen, in 2017.

That album, anchored by hits like «Young Dumb & Broke» and «Saved», captured adolescent longing and small-town restlessness with a sound blending R&B, pop, and light electronic textures — atmospheric, melodic, and emotionally direct. He followed with the Suncity EP in 2018, named for his hometown's nickname, and the 2019 album Free Spirit, which included the collaborative hit «Talk».
