K-Ci & JoJo

K-Ci & JoJo are an American R&B duo made up of brothers Cedric «K-Ci» Hailey and Joel «JoJo» Hailey from North Carolina, who first rose to fame as the lead singers of the multi-platinum group Jodeci alongside Mr. Dalvin and DeVante Swing. Before launching their solo duo career, the brothers lent their voices to hooks on 2Pac's «How Do U Want It» and «Toss It Up» in 1996.

Their debut album as a duo, «Love Always» (1997), produced the massive hit «All My Life», a three-week Billboard Hot 100 number one and a two-time Grammy nominee that remains their signature song. Their follow-up, «It's Real» (1999), went platinum on the strength of «Tell Me It's Real», while 2000's «X» delivered another hit in «Crazy». Their smooth, gospel-inflected harmonies and emotive lead vocals became a defining sound of late-1990s R&B.

After two more albums, «Emotional» (2002) and «My Brother's Keeper» (2013), which didn't repeat their earlier chart success, K-Ci & JoJo remained visible through reality television, starring in TV One's «K-Ci & JoJo... Come Clean» in 2010, which chronicled their personal struggles. They also reunited with Jodeci for the album «The Past, The Present, The Future», tying together their legacy as both a duo and as founding members of one of R&B's most influential groups.
