Jordan Rakei

Jordan Rakei is a singer, songwriter, and producer born in 1992 who grew up in Brisbane, Australia, before relocating to London in 2014 to work more closely with collaborators he had connected with online. That move placed him within a fertile UK scene blending jazz, soul, and electronic production.

His sound draws on soulful vocals, jazz harmony, and hip-hop-influenced rhythm, resulting in introspective, atmospheric songwriting. Tracks such as «Nerve», «Sorceress», and «Midnight Mischief» (including a well-known remix by Tom Misch) showcase this blend, while songs like «Mad World» and «Signs» reflect his tendency toward poetic, reflective lyrics about emotion and the wider world.
