Jenevieve

Jenevieve is an American R&B singer-songwriter who grew up near Miami before relocating to Los Angeles, where she began working closely with producer and songwriting partner Elijah Benzi. Her family background is Cuban, Bahamian, Spanish, and French, and she has spoken about a childhood steeped in dance thanks to her mother and grandmother, both trained ballet dancers. Musically she draws on classic pop, R&B, and rock icons such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince, and The Beatles, filtering that vintage sensibility through a modern, atmospheric production style.

She introduced herself as a recording artist with «Medallion» in February 2020, then broke through the following month with «Baby Powder», a track that showcased her airy, honeyed vocal tone and ear for retro-leaning grooves. Singles like «Eternal», «Midnight Charm», and «Résumé» followed in 2021, building toward her debut project Division, released that September.

In 2022 Jenevieve released her first EP, Rendezvous, and served as direct support on Giveon's North American tour, further establishing her within the contemporary R&B scene. After a period away from releasing music, she returned in 2025 with new material, continuing to develop the nostalgic yet forward-looking sound that has defined her catalogue.
