Jeffrey Osborne

Jeffrey Osborne is an American R&B and soul singer, born in Providence, Rhode Island. He first rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the funk and soul band L.T.D. in the 1970s, singing on hits such as «Love Ballad» and «(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again». His powerful, warm baritone became one of the defining voices of the group's smooth, radio-friendly sound.

After going solo in the early 1980s, Osborne built a successful career blending R&B, soul and adult-contemporary pop.
