IAMDDB, born Diana De Brito in 1996, is an English singer, rapper and producer from Manchester, whose name is an acronym for «I Am Diana DeBrito». Raised by a Portuguese mother and an Angolan father, both musicians, she grew up surrounded by a mix of Lusophone and Angolan musical traditions that later fed into her own sound. She describes her style as «Urban Jazz», a self-coined label that captures her blend of smoky jazz-inflected vocals, trap-influenced rap cadences and R&B songwriting.

IAMDDB built her early reputation through independently released mixtapes and singles, developing a loyal following on the strength of tracks like «Shade» and «Drippy», which showcase her fluid movement between singing and rapping over hazy, bass-heavy production. Her sound draws on jazz harmony and Portuguese and Angolan musical textures alongside contemporary UK R&B and hip-hop, giving her music a distinct, genre-blurring identity within the British urban scene.
