GSoul (지소울)

GSoul, born Kim Jihyun, is a South Korean R&B singer, songwriter and producer whose smooth, soulful vocal style has made him a respected figure in the Korean R&B scene since debuting in 2015. He first appeared with the EP «Coming Home» under JYP Entertainment before moving to H1GHR MUSIC in 2019, where he briefly performed under the stage name Golden.

His music blends contemporary R&B with elements of pop and hip-hop, favoring intimate vocal runs and understated, groove-driven production over flashy hooks. The album «Hate Everything», released in late 2019 after his return from military service, showcased this mature, emotionally direct approach and became one of his most recognized releases, alongside tracks like «Tequila» and «Natural».

GSoul further raised his profile through an appearance on Mnet's «The Voice of Korea», where his performance drew attention from all four judges. After his contract with H1GHR MUSIC ended in 2021, he returned to performing under his original name, GSoul, continuing to build a catalog defined by vocal control and genuine emotional expression within Korea's R&B and hip-hop-adjacent music scene.
