Getter

Getter is the stage name of Tanner Petulla, an American electronic music producer born in 1993 who emerged from the mid-2010s bass music scene as one of its most extreme and inventive voices. Known early on for aggressive, distorted dubstep and trap production released through Skrillex's OWSLA imprint, Getter built a reputation for genre-bending sets and a chaotic, high-energy live persona, often performing his own stunts and merging his music with his Terror Reid persona and Trippy Burger clothing brand.

Over time his sound expanded well beyond bass music, incorporating hip-hop, pop-punk, and alternative rock influences, most notably on tracks like «Head Splitter» and «Rip Van Winkle». He became a sought-after producer and collaborator in hip-hop circles, contributing beats to acts such as Pouya and $uicideboy$, and released material that traded pure aggression for melodic songwriting, including vocal-forward singles.
