Gazirovka is a Russian pop-rap duo from Kursk formed by Max Ivashin and Nikita Yuryevich, with visual and creative input often credited to Maxim Petrov. The project emerged in the late 2010s riding the wave of ironic, meme-friendly Russian internet pop, blending trap-influenced beats, autotuned hooks, and deliberately absurd, provocative lyrics aimed at a young, online-native audience. Their breakthrough came with «Black», whose unofficial music video spread rapidly online and turned the duo into one of the more talked-about acts of the Russian new-wave rap-pop scene.
