Gareth Emery

Gareth Emery is an English electronic dance music producer and DJ associated with the trance scene that flourished through the late 2000s and 2010s. He built his reputation partly through the influential radio show Gareth Emery Podcast (later The Gareth Emery Podcast), which helped introduce a wide global audience to progressive and uplifting trance production.

His catalog spans a run of artist albums, including Northern Lights, Drive, and 100 Reasons to Live, each moving between big-room trance anthems and more song-oriented, vocal-driven electronic pop. Tracks like «Concrete Angel» and «U» (with Bot) showcased his knack for pairing emotive vocal hooks with driving, melodic production, while «Saving Light», featuring Ashley Wallbridge and singer HALIENE, became one of his signature collaborations.

Emery has been recognized multiple times with the A State of Trance Tune of the Year award, reflecting his standing within the genre's core community. Beyond his own releases, he founded the label Garuda, which became an outlet for both his own music and a platform for other trance and progressive producers, further extending his influence on the scene's sound.
