Flume

Flume is the stage name of Harley Streten, an Australian electronic music producer from Sydney who emerged in the early 2010s as one of the defining voices of future bass. Signed to Future Classic after entering a demo competition as a teenager, he released his self-titled debut album in 2012, blending glitchy synths, warped vocal samples and heavy bass into a sound that influenced a generation of producers worldwide.

His 2016 album Skin pushed further into pop territory while keeping his signature layered, maximalist production, earning a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album and spawning hits like «Never Be Like You» featuring Kai. Flume has built a reputation as a prolific collaborator, working with singers and rappers across genres, which has kept him central to the ongoing conversation about where electronic and pop music intersect.

Beyond his own albums, Flume has released companion EPs, remixes and one-off collaborations that show his restless experimentation, moving between skittering, IDM-adjacent beats and more accessible festival anthems.
