Evan Fong

Evan Fong is a Canadian content creator and musician best known as VanossGaming, one of YouTube's most-subscribed gaming channels, where he and a rotating cast of friends play and comment on video games. Born in 1992 and based in Los Angeles, Fong built a massive online following over the 2010s before turning his attention to music, co-founding the record label Avant Garden.

He first released music in 2017 under the alias Rynx, starting with a remix of THEY.'s «U-RITE» and his debut original, «Want You» featuring Miranda Glory. He continued as Rynx through the 2019 album In Pieces, exploring a moody, synth-driven pop and electronic sound before going quiet on new releases.

After a four-year break, Fong announced in January 2025 that he would begin releasing music under his own name, starting with the single «Spawn!» as the lead track from a planned EP. The shift from an alter ego to his real identity marked a new, more personal chapter, blending pop and electronic textures with rock-tinged energy.
