Ella Mai

Ella Mai Howell is a British R&B singer and songwriter from Surrey, England, who first drew attention through a Vine and SoundCloud following before being signed to producer Mustard's 10 Summers Records. Her early EPs — «Time», «Change», and «Ready» — established a contemporary R&B sound built on Mustard's minimalist, bass-driven production paired with Mai's smoky, understated vocal delivery.

Her breakout single «Boo'd Up» became a major crossover hit and helped propel her self-titled 2018 debut album to the top of the US R&B charts, an album featuring collaborations with Chris Brown, John Legend, and H.E.R.
