ELIZA, born Eliza Sophie Caird, is an English singer-songwriter from London who first performed under the name Eliza Doolittle before adopting the shorter ELIZA. She began playing venues around the city as a teenager and signed to Parlophone Records while still young, quickly establishing herself with a bright, quirky pop sound rooted in soul and ska influences filtered through a distinctly British sensibility.

Her self-titled debut album became a major UK success, reaching the top of the charts and eventually going platinum, powered by playful, hook-driven songs that blended vintage flavors with modern pop production.
