Cosmo Pyke

Cosmo Pyke is an English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Peckham in south London. Before making music his primary focus, he was known for skating and street art, and gained wider visibility after appearing in Frank Ocean's video for «Nikes». His songwriting draws heavily on everyday life in southeast London, filtered through a loose, unhurried delivery.

His sound has been described as spacey and lazy in the best sense — warm guitar tones, soulful vocal phrasing, and a laid-back groove that nods to influences ranging from Joni Mitchell to Mac DeMarco, with hip-hop production sensibilities from producers like 9th Wonder also seeping in. Tracks such as «Chronic Sunshine» and «Great Dane» showcase this blend of bedroom-pop intimacy and neo-soul warmth.

He emerged with the Soundcloud project Just Cosmo in 2017, building a devoted following on the strength of his distinctive voice before releasing the EP A Piper For Janet in 2021, which further developed his songwriting into more polished, narrative-driven territory.
