Colde (콜드)

Colde, born Kim Heesoo, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper and producer who emerged from the R&B-leaning Club Eskimo crew before becoming known individually. Before his solo career he was already active as one half of the duo offonoff, building a reputation for smoky, understated vocals layered over minimal, atmospheric R&B and hip-hop production.

He launched his solo path in March 2018 with the single «Your Dog Loves You», followed by the EP Wave, establishing a sound defined by hushed delivery, late-night moodiness and lyrics that read as intimate, diary-like confessions. Later releases such as the EPs Love Part 1 and 이상주의 (Idealism) expanded his catalogue with tracks like «다시는 사랑한다 말하지 마», «사랑해» and «사랑해줘», reinforcing his identity as one of the more emotionally direct voices in Korean R&B and alternative hip-hop.

In mid-2018 Colde founded his own label and agency, WAVY, which has since grown to represent other artists in the same lo-fi, mood-driven R&B space. Between his group work, solo releases and role as a label head, he has become a notable figure connecting Korea's indie hip-hop scene with a broader R&B-influenced pop sensibility.
