He started out in the duo Elevationists with his brother Taelor before establishing himself as a solo artist known for blending soulful singing with rap verses rather than staying in one lane.

His catalog spans independent releases and stints with faith-oriented labels: he came up through the W.L.A.K. collective and Collision Records, releasing «School of Roses» in 2014, then moved to Kirk Franklin's Fo Yo Soul Recordings for «The Glory Album» in 2016.
