Cherrie is a Swedish singer and songwriter working in R&B, hip-hop and pop, known for blending Swedish lyrics with R&B production and a confident, personal vocal style. She emerged in the mid-2010s with early singles that quickly drew attention from Swedish media and radio, and her breakthrough came with «Tabanja», which earned her nominations at the Swedish Grammy Awards.

Her debut album «Sherihan» followed in 2016 and won prizes including Hiphop and RnB of the Year at the Swedish Grammis, cementing her as one of the leading voices in Swedish urban music. The album's success led to major festival slots and a national profile beyond the genre's usual audience.
