About the artist
Cherish is an American R&B duo formed by twin sisters Felisha and Fallon King, originally from Maywood, Illinois before the family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. The group started as a quartet with two older sisters, Farrah and Neosha, who later left, leaving the twins to carry the name forward. Raised in a musical household, the sisters built a sound rooted in early-2000s R&B and hip-hop, blending smooth vocal harmonies with club-ready production.
The group first drew attention as featured vocalists on Da Brat's «In Love wit Chu», then released their debut single «Miss P.», which saw modest chart action. Their breakthrough came with «Do It to It», a hit that established Cherish within the mid-2000s wave of R&B girl groups alongside labelmates and peers on urban radio. They also contributed vocals to the soundtrack of The Powerpuff Girls Movie, a mark of their crossover appeal at the time.
Over the following years Cherish continued releasing material including «Killa» and «Unappreciated», maintaining a catalog defined by tight harmonies, playful hooks, and production that leaned into the Atlanta R&B and crunk-influenced sound of the era. Signed to Capitol Records and Sho'nuff Records, the duo remains best remembered for bridging traditional girl-group harmony with 2000s urban radio production.
