Benny Benassi

Marco «Benny» Benassi is an Italian DJ, producer and remixer born on 13 July 1967 in Milan. He rose to global prominence in 2002 with «Satisfaction», a raw, distorted electro-house anthem whose provocative video made it one of the defining club records of the decade. Working closely with his cousin Alle Benassi, he became a leading figure of Italian electro-house and progressive house.

Over the following two decades Benassi built a catalogue spanning club bangers and radio-friendly collaborations, including «Who's Your Daddy?», «Every Single Day» and «Cinema», the latter earning a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording after Skrillex reworked it into a dubstep anthem. He has released material through his own Bensound/Ultra imprint and worked with vocalists across pop, R&B and dance.

His sound is built on punchy, filtered basslines, aggressive synth stabs and an ear for hooks that translate from festival mainstages to radio. Benassi remains one of Italy's most internationally recognized dance producers, continuing to tour and release music that bridges electro-house roots with contemporary pop-EDM crossovers.
