ABRA

ABRA is a singer, songwriter, and producer who grew up in the Atlanta suburbs after being born in Queens, New York. She built her early following recording acoustic covers before connecting with Atlanta rapper Father and joining the Awful Records collective, a scene known for its lo-fi, genre-blurring approach to hip-hop and R&B. That do-it-yourself ethos shapes her sound, which fuses R&B songwriting with synth-driven pop, rap cadences, and occasional rock textures.

Her 2015 debut album, «Rose», established her as a singular voice within Awful Records, mixing minimal, dark production with intimate, often melancholic vocals. She followed it with a run of singles and the 2016 EP «PRINCESS», sharpening a sound that draws equally from bedroom pop and club-ready electronic R&B.
