"The Story of Tonight" es un himno enérgico del primer acto del musical Hamilton (2015) de Lin-Manuel Miranda, interpretado por Alexander Hamilton, John Laurens, el marqués de Lafayette y Hercules Mulligan en vísperas de la Guerra de Independencia estadounidense. Los cuatro jóvenes, reunidos en una taberna, brindan por la libertad y por la idea de que, aunque no vivan para ver la victoria, las futuras generaciones contarán la historia de su lucha.
