Jim Legxacy

Jim Legxacy is a British rapper, singer and producer from Lewisham in South East London, born James Folorunso Ifeanyi Olaloye in 2000. He began releasing music independently in the late 2010s, building a following through SoundCloud uploads and mixtape features before dropping his debut EP «Dynasty Program» in 2019, a project that quietly amassed hundreds of thousands of streams before being pulled from platforms.

His music moves fluidly between UK rap, R&B, indie rock and pop influences, often within the same song, giving his catalog a genre-blurring quality that has drawn comparisons to other boundary-pushing British artists. Rather than sticking to a single lane, Legxacy treats genre as raw material, layering emo-adjacent guitar tones, hazy vocal hooks and rap verses into intimate, diaristic songwriting.

His second EP «CITADEL», released in December 2021, expanded on this approach with more introspective and lyrically ambitious material. Legxacy has continued to build a cult following through a steady stream of independent releases that treat London's post-genre rap and alternative scenes as a shared language rather than separate traditions, making him one of the more distinctive voices to emerge from South East London in recent years.
