Sobre el artista
All Saints es un grupo femenino inglés formado en Londres en 1993, inicialmente en torno a Melanie Blatt y Shaznay Lewis, a las que luego se unieron las hermanas Natalie y Nicole Appleton para completar la alineación clásica. Surgidas en medio del auge pop posterior a las Spice Girls a finales de los noventa, se distinguieron por un sonido más contenido y con mayor influencia del R&B que el de muchas de sus contemporáneas.
Su apogeo comercial llegó con sencillos como «Never Ever», «Pure Shores» y «Black Coffee», temas que combinaban letras melancólicas con producción R&B y trip-hop contemporánea. «Pure Shores», escrita junto a William Orbit para la película The Beach, sigue siendo uno de sus momentos más emblemáticos y muestra su faceta más atmosférica.
Tras separarse en 2001, All Saints se reunió en varias ocasiones a lo largo de los años siguientes, lanzando nuevos discos y volviendo a los escenarios. Su legado se basa en una serie de sencillos muy cuidados que ayudaron a definir el cruce entre pop y R&B británico de finales de los noventa y principios de los 2000.
