Żabson

Żabson, born Mateusz Zawistowski (2 July 1994, Opoczno, Poland), is a Polish rapper and songwriter who has been active on the Polish hip-hop scene since the mid-2010s. He debuted in 2015 with the EP NieKumam, followed a year later by Passion Fruits, before releasing his first full studio album, To Ziomal, in 2018 — a record that reached number three on the Polish OLiS chart.

Żabson built his reputation on a playful, melodic take on trap and rap, blending catchy hooks with Polish slang and a laid-back, party-oriented delivery. His subsequent releases, including Trapollo (2018) and the album Internaziomal (2019), cemented his position as one of the most recognizable voices in Polish trap.

In the following years he explored collaborative projects, most notably teaming up with Young Igi for the albums amfisbena and amfisbena (DELUXE) in 2022. After releasing Ostatni Ziomal in 2023, he took a two-year break before returning in March 2025 with HOLLYWOOD SMILE, an album marking a decade of his career and featuring a collaboration with the American duo Homixide Gang on the track «100».
