Migos

Migos is a hip-hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia, formed by the family members Quavo, Takeoff and Offset. Emerging from the Atlanta trap scene, the group built a reputation on rapid-fire triplet flows, ad-lib-heavy hooks and a tightly interlocking chemistry between the three voices, a style that came to be widely known as the Migos flow and reshaped how a generation of rappers approached rhythm and delivery.

After years of mixtapes, the group broke through commercially with «Versace», later remixed by Drake, and became inescapable with «Bad and Boujee», a chart-topping single that helped push their sound into the mainstream. Their album trilogy Culture, Culture II and Culture III cemented their status as one of the defining rap acts of the streaming era, with Culture II tying a Billboard chart record for simultaneous Hot 100 entries by a group.

Beyond their own catalogue, Migos' influence spread widely through collaborations and the sheer reach of their vocal cadences, which were absorbed into mainstream pop and hip-hop production well beyond Atlanta. The trio's run was marked by tragedy with the death of Takeoff in 2022, but their body of work remains a defining chapter in modern trap music.
