Yungen is a rapper from South London who built his profile through a well-known SB.TV freestyle before establishing himself with the mixtape Project Purple. His breakthrough came with the top-10 hit «Bestie», featuring Yxng Bane, which brought him into the mainstream UK charts and expanded his audience beyond the grime and UK rap scene.

He became part of Play Dirty, the collective formed by fellow South London artists Krept and Konan, and has frequently collaborated with Brixton rapper Sneakbo.
