Yungeen Ace

Yungeen Ace, born Kenyata Bullard on February 12, 1998, is a rapper from Jacksonville, Florida, though he was born in East Chicago, Indiana. He grew up in a large family that struggled financially and moved often, and became affiliated with the local Yungeen Gang crew, from which he later distanced himself. His stage name references the character Ace from the 2002 film Paid in Full.

Ace's path to recognition was shaped by hardship: he served time in prison and survived a shooting that killed his brother and two close friends, a tragedy he confronted directly on his breakout single «Pain». His early single «Go To War» gained traction online while he was incarcerated, and after his release the 2018 single «All In» helped him land a deal with Cinematic Music Group. His debut project, Life Of Betrayal, followed later that year.

Musically, Yungeen Ace fits within the emotionally raw, melodic strain of Southern trap and street rap, using his own losses and struggles as central subject matter across tracks like «Game Over», «Hold Me Down», and «Jungle».
