Yung Beef

Yung Beef, born Fernando Gálvez Gómez in 1990 in Granada, Spain, is one of the central figures behind the rise of Spanish trap. He started out rapping in the Granada collective Kefta Boyz before moving through London and Marseille and eventually settling in Barcelona, where he co-founded PXXR GVNG alongside Cecilio G, Kaydy Cain, Khaled, and Uruguayan producer Steve Lean. The group's raw, gangster-leaning aesthetic and DIY production ethos made them one of the defining acts of Spain's early-2010s trap scene.

His acclaimed mixtape «A.D.R.O.M.I.C.F.M.S», produced by Steve Lean, helped establish his reputation as a distinctive voice within Spanish urban music, known for candid, street-oriented lyrics and stylistic versatility spanning trap, reggaetón, and electronic production. He has also worked as a DJ, further reflecting his range beyond straightforward rap. PXXR GVNG went on to play festivals, release a major-label record, and extend the reach of Spanish trap beyond national borders.

Beyond music, Yung Beef built a parallel career in fashion, debuting as a model in 2016 with a runway appearance in Paris and a global Calvin Klein campaign alongside other artists — an experience he later referenced in his mixtape «Fashion». His combination of unfiltered street authenticity and crossover cultural presence made him a key architect of Spain's modern urban music identity.
