Young Stoner Life

Young Stoner Life, often abbreviated YSL, is a record label and collective founded by Atlanta rapper Young Thug in 2016. Operating out of Atlanta, Georgia, the label built its identity around Young Thug's idiosyncratic, genre-blurring approach to hip hop and R&B, gathering a roster of artists who share a similarly loose, melodic, and experimental sensibility. Over the years, the imprint has been home to artists including Gunna, Lil Keed, Lil Duke, Yak Gotti, Strick, and others, several of whom rose to national prominence through their association with the label.

YSL's signature releases are its Slime Language compilation albums, which bring together the label's roster alongside high-profile guests to showcase the collective sound and cross-promote its artists. These compilations, along with numerous collaborative singles and mixtapes, established YSL as one of the more commercially and culturally significant label collectives to emerge from Atlanta's trap scene in the late 2010s.

The label's output is characterized by adventurous vocal melodies, unconventional flows, and a willingness to blend trap production with pop and R&B textures, mirroring Young Thug's own influential style.
