Young M.A, born Katorah Kasanova Marrero on April 3, 1992, is an MC from Brooklyn, New York, whose stage name stands for «Me Always». She broke through as an openly gay woman in a genre historically dominated by men, using sharp, rapid-fire freestyles and a confident, no-frills delivery to establish herself on her own terms.

Her breakout single «OOOUUU» became a viral hit and one of the defining New York rap tracks of its era, showcasing her gritty Brooklyn accent and street-smart wordplay over a hard-hitting beat.
