Xzibit, born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner on September 18, 1974, is an American rapper, actor, and television host who emerged from the West Coast hip-hop scene in the mid-1990s. He built his reputation through associations with Dr. Dre and the Aftermath/Interscope camp, contributing his gruff delivery and street-hardened lyricism to a string of collaborative projects that cemented his place within the G-funk and gangsta rap lineage of Los Angeles hip-hop.
