WESTSIDE BOOGIE, often stylized as simply Boogie, is a rapper from Compton, California, known for introspective songwriting that blends street narratives with themes of relationships, faith, and self-doubt. He emerged with the 2014 mixtape «Thirst 48», which built a grassroots following through tracks like «Bitter Raps» and «Let Me Rap», and followed it with «The Reach» in 2015.

His rise caught the attention of Interscope Records, and he later released a second volume of his breakout tape, «Thirst 48 Pt. 2», in 2016. Eminem personally signed him to Shady Records, announcing the deal in 2017, which placed Boogie alongside other West Coast lyricists in the label's roster.

His debut studio album, «Everything's For Sale», arrived in January 2019, cementing his reputation as one of the more emotionally direct voices in contemporary rap, unafraid to explore vulnerability and personal struggle within a genre often defined by bravado. His catalog includes standout cuts such as «Rainy Days», «Silent Ride», and «Soho».
