Voyage

Voyage is a Serbian rapper and songwriter from Belgrade, born Mihajlo Veruović in 2001. His childhood was marked by a family tragedy — his father was seriously wounded in the 2003 assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić — after which the family relocated to France for safety, returning to Belgrade only in 2009. That period of displacement and isolation gave him his stage name, French for journey, and shaped the introspective, sometimes melancholic tone that runs through his music.

He began as a guitarist drawn to rock before shifting toward hip-hop songwriting in his teens, co-founding the group Company with fellow rapper Bradd and releasing early material together. His solo debut came with Nisi tu in 2019, followed by a deal with the label Generacija Zed, which helped push him into the front rank of the new Serbian and regional trap and rap scene.

Voyage blends Serbian-language rap with pop and R&B melodic sensibilities, favoring atmospheric production and emotionally direct lyrics over aggressive delivery. Tracks like Vrati me, Pleši, Gad, VVS and Amsterdam built his reputation across the Balkans, and songs such as Balkan and Beli grad lean into regional identity and nightlife themes that resonate with a young, Instagram-and-TikTok-native audience.
