Vegedream

Vegedream, born Satchela Djedje on August 25, 1992, in Orléans, France, is a French rapper and singer of Ivorian descent widely known for blending rap with coupé-décalé and Afro-influenced pop melodies. He began his musical journey as a member of the group La Synesia before launching a solo career that gained major traction with his first mixtape, Marchand de sable, released in June 2018.

Vegedream reached mainstream prominence in 2018 with «Ramenez la coupe à la maison», a celebratory anthem tied to France's World Cup victory that became one of the year's defining French-language hits and introduced him to a much broader audience. He followed this success with his debut studio album Ategban in July 2019, featuring the widely streamed «Elle est bonne sa mère» alongside Ninho. His sound consistently merges rap flows with danceable, melodic hooks rooted in West African musical traditions.

He continued building his catalog with the deluxe edition of his third project and, on April 29, 2022, released La boîte de Pandore, his fifth project and second studio album. Tracks such as «La fuite», «Personne», and «Marchand de sable Part. 4 (Du Saal)» reflect his consistent output and his role as one of the artists who helped bring Afro-coupé-décalé rhythms into mainstream French rap and pop.
