Veeze

Veeze (born Karon Vantrees Malcolm, February 28, 1995) is a rapper from Detroit, Michigan, celebrated for his laid-back, slurred flow and deadpan sense of humor that helped define a new wave in Detroit hip-hop. Before pursuing music seriously, he had aspirations of playing basketball, but shifted his focus to rap around 2019, quickly becoming a fixture in the city's scene.

His breakout single «Itself», featuring DT Tha Kidd and WTM Scoob, and the follow-up «Rusty» — whose video was funded by Babyface Ray after the song took off locally — established him as a rising local talent. He released his debut mixtape Navy Wavy in September 2019, cementing his early sound. Over the following years he built a reputation through prolific singles and collaborations with artists including Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, and Lil Yachty.

Veeze's style is marked by an understated, almost mumbled delivery paired with witty, often absurdist wordplay, setting him apart within Detroit's dense rap ecosystem alongside peers like Babyface Ray and 42 Dugg.
