Tyler Childers is an American singer-songwriter from Lawrence County, Kentucky, whose music draws on Appalachian folk, bluegrass and honky-tonk country traditions. Raised near Paintsville in the Big Sandy River Valley, he absorbed storytelling and gospel influences from church gatherings and family life before relocating to Lexington, Kentucky, where his career took shape.
