Toosii

Toosii is an American rapper from Syracuse, New York, who relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina as a teenager. He began releasing independent projects in his youth before signing to South Coast Music Group, the label associated with fellow North Carolina star DaBaby, in the early 2020s. His breakthrough came through a string of emotionally direct, melodic rap songs that blend hip hop cadences with R&B sensibility and pop hooks.

Toosii built his reputation on tracks such as «Red Lights», «Love Cycle», «Poetic Pain» and «Sapiosexual», known for candid lyrics about love, heartbreak and personal struggle delivered over melodic, radio-friendly production. His mixtapes and EPs, including «Platinum Heart» and «Poetic Pain», established him as a leading voice in the wave of young Southern rappers merging trap textures with vulnerable songwriting.
