Tion Wayne

Tion Wayne, born Dennis Junior Odunwo on September 1, 1993, is a rapper from Edmonton, North London, known for moving fluidly between trap, road rap, Afrobeats and UK drill rather than sticking to a single lane. He began releasing freestyles on YouTube as early as 2010, building his name through mixtape projects like Wayne's World (2014) and its sequel Wayne's World 2 (2016) before his 2017 EP Transition showed off his Afrobeats-leaning side.

His career was interrupted in late 2017 when he was imprisoned for 16 months following a brawl outside a club in Bristol. After his release in late 2018, he returned to the UK rap scene with the single «Home», and his profile rose sharply in 2019 thanks to a feature on NSG's hit «Options», which reached number 7 on the UK Singles Chart and went platinum. His drill collaboration with Russ Millions, «Keisha & Becky», became another major commercial and critical success.
