Thomas Rhett

Thomas Rhett Akins Jr. is an American country singer-songwriter born March 30, 1990 in Valdosta, Georgia, the son of country artist Rhett Akins. Growing up immersed in Nashville's music scene, he initially explored other musical paths — including playing drums in a punk rock band in high school — before pursuing his own recording career, releasing a self-titled debut EP followed by his first full album, It Goes Like This.

His 2015 album Tangled Up marked a turning point, spawning hits like «T-Shirt», «Vacation» and the tender ballad «Die a Happy Man», which showcased his ability to blend heartfelt, romantic storytelling with polished country-pop production.
