The Judds

The Judds were an American country music duo formed by mother Naomi Judd and her daughter Wynonna Judd. They rose to fame in the 1980s with a sound that blended traditional country, close harmony singing, and elements of folk and bluegrass, standing apart from the more polished Nashville productions of the era. Wynonna's powerful lead vocals paired with Naomi's harmonies became one of the defining voices of country music in that decade.
